Terms and Conditions

Effective 31 July 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of SEO Engine (the “Service”), operated by Aakash Nigam, trading as SEO Engine (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. The Service

SEO Engine is a self-serve, subscription SaaS product that turns a target keyword into researched, outlined, and written article content, and can publish that content to a connected WordPress or Shopify site on your behalf. There is no agency retainer and no mandatory setup call.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your credentials confidential. You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.

If you invite team members to your workspace, you are responsible for their use of the Service under your account.

5. Subscription, billing & cancellation

  • Plans are billed in INR on a monthly or annual cycle, per the plan selected at signup. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank details.
  • Every plan is month-to-month — there is no lock-in contract. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
  • Cancelling stops future billing. Your access, and everything already generated or published to your site, continues through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for — we don’t claw back content that has already gone live.
  • Charges already billed for the current period are non-refundable except where required by law, or at our discretion for a documented service failure on our part — contact hello@seoengine.in within 7 days of the charge to request review.
  • If you exceed your plan’s monthly article limit, the excess is queued for the next cycle rather than billed as a surprise overage.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate or publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or abusive content, not to attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service, and not to resell raw access to the Service without our written consent.

7. Content ownership

The keywords, briefs, and other inputs you provide remain yours. The articles the Service generates for you are yours to use, edit, and publish once produced — we don’t claim ownership over your content. Because content is AI-generated, you are responsible for reviewing it for accuracy before publishing.

8. Third-party integrations

The Service can connect to third-party platforms you authorize (e.g. WordPress, Shopify) and uses third-party AI model providers to generate content. Those integrations are governed by the relevant third party’s own terms, and we are not responsible for outages or changes on their end.

9. Our intellectual property

The SEO Engine software, brand, and design remain the property of Aakash Nigam. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that intellectual property to you.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and we do not guarantee any specific search ranking or traffic outcome from content produced or published through the Service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may cancel your own account at any time as described above.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

13. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, grievances may be directed to:
Grievance Officer: Aakash Nigam, Founder
Email: hello@seoengine.in
Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month of receipt.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Contact us
